Red Beefsteak Tomato

Classic French Heirloom ribbed beefsteak with firm scarlet-red meaty flesh. Selected by Vilmorin many years ago, it's regarded as one of the best-tasting large tomatoes. The plants produce early, the fruit stores well once picked, and it is tolerant to both hot and cool weather. A determinate plant habit sees it growing to 170 cm high with 50 cm spread. Matures 80 days from transplant.
